What a lovely surprise! I was dubious about going but so glad we did. I don’t understand why it wasn’t fully booked, Redditch is lucky to finally have a nice restaurant to go to! Menu was extensive but a little confusing for someone who doesn’t eat too much Japanese, but the friendly and knowledgeable staff helped out explaining what the dishes would look like and consist of. Really lovely, fresh food, presented beautifully in lovely surroundings. Looking forward to going back and trying something different! Definitely worth checking out.

What a fantastic restaurant. We absolutely loved our visit to Edo the food was spectacular, divine but also super affordable. And as far as hospitality goes, it was the best, really friendly and attentive. The food was quick to come out and tasted fresh. As for the restaurant itself, it's a very clean and calming environment to enjoy your meal in. We will 120% be going back, just wish I could eat in there every day. A real authentic slice of Japan.

My wife and I had recently visited Japan, and we are here with a friend who had lived in Japan for a few years. We were all really impressed with the quality of the food and service Huge menu of both Japanese and wider Asian dishes The sushi and sashimi was outstanding. The rice is the key and it's as soft and tasty as you hope it would be. We love ramen so my wife had to order it. It was very good and brought back happy food memories of the best ramen places in Japan Friday evening and we arrived early for our table, and had great service from start to finish. Authentic beer (Asahi on draft ) and good sake on the drinks list Our meat eating friend enjoyed the chicken katsu curry Great experience and highly recommended

Lovely food! We’ve been here several times now and always want to come back! Love the sushi and other dishes. My favourite is Salmon Lover Sushi. They give you a tablet instead of a menu and it still requires a code so they have to come back and enter it, it’s a bit strange but we don’t mind. Mango bubble juice with passionfruit bubbles is sooo yummy! Very friendly staff and delicious food. We will be back for sure.

What an amazing place! The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The food was delicious which we enjoyed thoroughly.Cooked and served beautifully, with many options on the menu there’s something for everyone. Great portion sizes; they even have a little dress up area of kimonos.

Such a beautiful environment, so well set up. Staff are incredibly friendly and easy to approach, and the service was fast. We did go on a slow Wednesday, however. We had Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, Ramen and a sushi selection. It's clear the chefs are passionate about their craft, and that they care about the food they serve. Will be dining here again for sure! Thanks Edo for a great evening

Outside the Kingfisher shopping centre, is this wonderful gem, all these years and I never gandered outside the centre during my visits! All I can say is, that it is highly recommended. I went with a friend and their family and we have young children for lunch. We spent 3 hours there and never felt unwelcome or timed out. We were able to access the building easily with our pushchairs, and there is baby changing facilities. Nearby, outside carpark is called ParkBee the Quadrant and decently priced and can pay at machine with card/phone/app. The food is wonderful, and plentyful. Drinks are value for money. We mixed and matched starters, ranging from octopus balls, karaage, bao, goyoza, chicken skewers. For mains, we had a mix platter, godzilla maki and crazy boy makis. Bubble tea drinks, blueberry and Korean lemon honey. All absolutely fantastic and can't really fault. The only thing was the karaage was a little salty for me, but I still ate it! Managed to squeeze in dessert, mango cheesecake, macha tiamasu and macha sundae. Desserts were OK, not the best, so wouldn't particularly recommend them. Stick to the starters and mains. So between 2 people; 3 starters, 2 sets of makis, 2 bubble teas and 2 desserts, you're looking at about 60.
